- Then keep the 2nd roti over 1st layer and repeat the same process..
- Repeat the same process for all the 6 layers except the top layer..
- Now carefully roll the layers with a rolling pin to spread more. I spread to 1 inch diameter more.Now spread paste and flour to top layer..
- Carefully roll in the layers to make a long log.This will give the pinwheel shape..
- Cover it with cling wrap and keep it in the fridge for 10 mins. This will help to set the dough..
- After 10 minutes, take out the log and cut in 1/2inch roundals with a sharp knife..
- Deep fry the mathris on low flame for 8-10 mins, till golden brown and crisp..
- Cool and serve with tea or coffee. These mathris, if stored in an air tight container, will remain good for upto a month..
