- Also add, 1tsp cumin, 1tsp mustard seeds,1tsp fenugreek seeds..
- Also add, 1tsp fennel seeds, 1 bay leaf, dry chilli and curry leaves and pinch hing..
- Mix well and then add green chilli and onion and garlic..
- Sauté to golden brown and add tomato and 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tsp coriander powder..
- Also add, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt according to taste. And sauté on low flame until the spices turn aromat..
- Now, add 1 cup curd and stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil..
- Now, add prepare gatte and cover it for 3-4 min until gatte absorbs flavour..
- Adjust the consistency as required. Add 1/4tsp garam masala and fenugreek leaves. And mix well.besa.
- Besan ke gatte is ready to serve with bati, roti or naan..
