- After the dough has risen, on a floured surface roll out each dough into a disc shape. You can taste the dough to determine which one is which..
- Take the sugar dough and place it ontop of the salty dough..
- Ensure that all the edges meet uniformly..
- Roll out the discs into a log shape..
- Using a clean string or floss, cut out about one inch thickness pieces..
- Put them on a lightly floured surface, cover and let rise for about 15-30 minutes..
- Heat oil over medium heat and fry the pinwheel until you get a nice golden brown color..
- Drain off excess oil on a paper towel. The pinwheel are ready to serve..
- I coated mine with some melted white chocolate, you can also coat in sugar syrup made with one cup sugar, 1/4 cup water over medium heat..
- Serve and enjoy.
